So you thought I would never return.....but here I am.

We want snow!

The last time we had snow was when Hallie came up for part of Christmas vacation. We want SNOW! Some serious snow! Whitt came home and said he found a recipe for snow at school. He wants us to try it. Here it is:

1.) Wear your pajamas inside out and backwards.

2.) Turn three times in a circle chanting "We want Snow!"

3.) Put a spoon under your pillow before you go to bed.

We will put it to the test but with temperatures in the 60's today......I think we may have to wait for our little recipe.

Hypochondriacs Anonymous

Jim's allergy cup runneth over! After much research, Jim is determined to turn our house into a hospital. Dust beware.....dirt...germs ...dont even think about it! I am anticipating him buying a bubble boy suit in the near future:) I think he has forgotten that we have two kids......a dog in the near future ....... a wife who hates to clean! He is starting his own HA club and will be building a decomtamination room for his fall project.

Can't Touch This

I like to think that after 9 years I have taught Jim a few things.......but after an unasissted trip to Dick's, it is obvious that I have a lot more to do. Luckily, Dicks return policy is good and we were able to undo the damage. Well...almost....Lindsey and Whitt are still waking up with nightmares. Think McHammer goes running........well atleast its not the Jerry Stienfeld shoes he came home with shortly after we were married.

We're Back!

Ok! So my New Year's resolution is to get back to blogging about my favorite people. There is so much I want to remember because these times go by so fast!

While Dad's Away!!!

Jim was out of town and the kids and I decided to have some fun! We broke out the art supplies and went to work making some indian vests. I cherish these times because they are growing so fast!!! I will miss the smell of maple syrup on their sweet faces and and paint all over their clothes. All we are promised is today and today I woke up with two babies next to me.....how sweet is that!!! Thank You GOD!!!!!!! Lindsey said last night that she sometimes likes it when Jim travels because they get to sleep with me...I had to remind her that I have been bed hopping for the last 7 years!!! Whitt had a breakdown this morning. He asked where Jim's grandmother was....I told him heaven.......well with tears in his eyes...he said he didn't want to get old and go to heaven because moms and kids stay together and moms don't leave thier kids. I "bore" him and we love each other..thats the rules. Well heaven will have to wait another day....nothing will change his mind or sweet heart........what did I do to be sooo lucky???? Well Jim gets home tonight.....and we will watch some movies and eat popcorn.......and RELAX.

Gentry's Farm

Whitt and I had a terrific day at Gentry's Farm! The wind almost did me in but the kids didn't even notice. We went on a picnic, hayride, hay maze and played on the farm. Whitt loves farms but wasn't impressed with the chickens.....he told his dad the other night he needs a paint gun. When asked why he said "you know dad for birds" Jim said "birds don't do anything to you. I don't hunt birds." Whitt looked at him like he was crazy and said "I do they pick on you" He meant to say peck......how funny. I wish I could bottle up all the things they say to hear them over ad over again but until I can figure that out ...this blog will have to do. OhI forgot- Mr. Gentry ran over a cow who was trying to eat a pumpkin under the wagon. Cow is doing fine...i am glad it wasn't me. On a side note- Whitt has grown an inch an a half in three months. So out to the mall for some new pants.

I know haven't updated in a few days but my employer has been a real pain!!! I told him I am no longer working on the weekends!!! We have been busy. With Halloween parties, Halloween night party, field trip to Gentry's Farm and my unrelentinmg desire to kick Jim's Butt on running.......we have been swamped....oh I forgot the end of the season soccer party and Lindsey's cheerleading game. We had a fun night with the neighbors Halloween night. We ate, trick or treated and hung out. We even did some bobbing for apples. Whitt lost some of his candy....thank goodness...It makes sticking to our plan easier without all that temptation.

My Little Monster and His Princess

It was a Mash! It was a Monster Mash!

WOW That the best way I can decribe this weekend! IIt was fantastic! I try to take snapshots in my mind so I can savor the moment later. I want to remember this 10 years from now. I am sad that each day that passes my kids are getting older. I want to keep them forever so if any of you have a stay young forver potion let me know. We had our cheerleading competition Sat. They did wonderful. They won 1st and 2nd place! Sundqay we had Lindsey's party at our house- with hayrides, inflatables, and games. 2 hours later and thankful we have hardwood floors..........Lindsey proclaimed that it was the best party ever! This week We are going to the pumpkin patch, Lindsey has her fall party, and I have Shondia coming to help me clean........Life is good!
