WOW That the best way I can decribe this weekend! IIt was fantastic! I try to take snapshots in my mind so I can savor the moment later. I want to remember this 10 years from now. I am sad that each day that passes my kids are getting older. I want to keep them forever so if any of you have a stay young forver potion let me know. We had our cheerleading competition Sat. They did wonderful. They won 1st and 2nd place! Sundqay we had Lindsey's party at our house- with hayrides, inflatables, and games. 2 hours later and thankful we have hardwood floors..........Lindsey proclaimed that it was the best party ever! This week We are going to the pumpkin patch, Lindsey has her fall party, and I have Shondia coming to help me clean........Life is good!

We're back! I would have loved to stayed longer but we have sooo much going on. Lindsey's competition is this Sat and her party in Sunday. Wish me luck! Whitt has been growing like a weed. He grew 1 1/2 inches in 3 months! So we have had to go out and buy him so new pants not to mention lots of food. He is always hungry! He is still loving soccer and can't wait for his trophy. I am still running and planning on doing the St. Jude 5k with Jim in December. My body isn't too happy with my plans but is still putting one foot in front of the other......

Rosemary Beach Fall Break 2006

Where are we? ROSEMARY BEACH!!! What are we going to do? HAVE FUN!!!! We are here and its perfect. The weather can't be better. The kids are have a wonderful time playing in the crystal clear water and its like we are the only ones at the beach. We had the pool to ourselves and Lindsey is becoming the swimmer. She swam 18 laps yesterday and now is in bed exhausted. Whitt's fame comes in the form of backflips. Oh and did I mention the weather is perfect....just wanted to rub it in!! There are monarch butterflies everywhere. It is there migration through the area so it was neat to see. We are headed to the beach this morning but one Whitt Funny to leave you with: Last night at dinner Whitt looked at the guy next to us and said " That guy has no hair." Jim trying to teach him a valuable lesson said...people come in all sorts of sizes, shapes, and features. Whitt responds "but you have Superman hair and that guy doesnt have any!" Lindsey is gearing up for her birthday. We will paint plates and she wants to paint an ocean scene on canvas. She has been drawing a lot. I will have to post more when I get back.......I have to run before the munckins wake!

Where to begin? Well we got up early to be at the football complex at 7:20am ...We got our corsages...after all what is homecoming without flowers?...We got on the floats and started chantting with the football players....who are we? COWBOYS What do we want? WIN!!!!!!! Well we did...but I digress. We were float #3. We went through downtown Franklin waving while traffic was in a stand still for US! It was incredible to see the looks on the kids faces while spectators cheered them on. How great of an experience for 6-7 year olds....heck it was great for this 29 year old. It was fun to see Jim and Whitt cheering us on! Whitt called me on the float afterwards and said he loved me in the parade...how sweet! Next year I want to ride on the firetruck~!.......so we will see...I could use the PA system...hummmm......We had our awrd ceremony and guess what........drum roll please.......Lindsey won the award for most cookie sales! She was sooo excited. This is what gets me on the fields 3xweek---the kids----they are awesome! We had pictures and then the game.....where we crushed the BLAZE!!!!! Now I am tired so I will have to fill in the other stories later.

Crazy Hair & Clothes Day!

Well Spirit Week has been so much fun! Lindsey loved dressing crazy and it made getting reday for school a breeze! Its been busy but exciting. Now we can take a break, rest for competition and soak up some sun in Rosemary Beach! I am so ready!

Breaking News

We are going to the CHEETAH GIRLS CONCERT W/ HANNAH MONTANA in Memphis December 5th. She is sooo excited. Jim said his first concert was when he was 17 or 18. I went to one in 7th grade. Boy, times are changing! It will be a blast! She called all her friends and wouldn't stop talking about it yesterday. I reminded her that its not until December and she said "thats ok...the Cheetah Girls are soo worth it. " how did she grow up so fast? My baby is 5 and she will be 7......I can't believe it! Another Lindsey News: she got student of the week in PE! They pick one persopn from each grade. She is also doing track each Monday. With track, tennis and cheerleading, I am worn out! She loves to be busy...I am a wreck!

Whitt's Date

Whitt was riding around yesterday and wanted to show off his ride to our neighbor's sister who was in town. We picked her up and showed her the neighborhood......She is in her 40's! Jim mentioned he was on his first date. Whitt quickly dropped her back off and ran inside.....I asked him what was wrong and he said...."I am not on a date!" Jim was in HOT water!

Titans Have NEW QB

Jim has given up his job in the insurance business to be the Titans New QB. He figures he can't do any worse. Whitt thinks its a funny proposition! Go Titans......we're proud to be the blue and white.....we're not going down without a fight! Our man Albert Hainsworth proved that with a swift kick to the opponent head with metal cleats.......did I forget to mention the man's helment was off? On a positive note- with the Titans having a hard time...I am getting more done around the house! Jim just can't watch it.

Someone's in the Kitchen with Whitt...Someone's in the kitchen I know. Whitt and I were watching CSI after we all got back from Open Season. We got up and went in the kitchen to get a snack and he came back like this........how funny! I couldn't keep from laughing!

We've Got Spirit!

We've got Spirit, Yes we do! We've got Spirit, how about you! Lindsey was in her 1st Pep Rally Friday. It was the Kick Off to the Hoot, Scoot & Boogie 2006. HS&B is a spirit week that ends with a carnival this Friday. She is so excited. They have Pajama day, Crazy Glasses/Hats, Crazy Hair/Clothes, Sports Day, and Oak View Spirit Day. They also have a silent auction. They are having inflatables, pony rides, games, and my favorite a cake walk! We can't wait! We are also getting ready for Cowboys Homecoming Saturday! We will be riding on a float through downtown Franklin, getting corsages, and pictures. Its going to be a fun and busy week!
